Watching this season's finale was really a treat. Music greats performed lived on stage .... I think this is the most jam packed finale the American Idol ever had. The highlight for me was the duet of Keith Urban and Kris Allen.... hotness!!! Also worth mentioning is that Boom Boom Pow performance from Black Eyed Peas, Santana's performance with the Idols, and of course that of Queen's.And because I always root for the underdogs, I was ecstatic upon hearing Ryan announced Kris Allen won. He is the perfect paradigm of a "Dark Horse". Imagine from obscurity with no fanfare at all, he emerged as a contender. He was downplayed heavily by the judges and producers even up to the finale. But despite all odds, he was still there, winning the admiration of a lot of pe
ople. It's a realization that success in the music industry does not purely rely on how high the note you can reach but it is a combination of charisma and musical talent and ingenuity. Kris Allen definitely has all three qualities and his humility played a big factor. The song "No Boundaries" suited him best....Listen to 'No Boundaries'

I still think Adam Lambert should be the winner and the winner should not be the underdog but the one who deserves it.
ReplyDeletehi bingkee thanks for droppin by :) both of them are deserving of the title each one having their own niche that makes them unique, it all boils down to our music preferences. .... the one who won the battle is the one who deserves the title, and the real winner here is the voting public who just made a big statement by voting for Kris, the underdog who is as talented as Adam but was not given the same kind of credit he deserves from the judges and producers.
