Park 'N Fly is an offsite parking in a  multi level covered building that is open 24 hrs and fully secured. It can accommodate 200 cars and provides  free shuttle service to all airport terminals of  the Manila International Airport.

My family have utilized their services twice already and we find it very convenient and cost effective whenever we travel as a family and no one is left at home. So I suggest if you are going out of town or out of the country, you might want to consider parking your vehicle there and be worry free while you're out on a trip. Park 'N Fly offers their services for a reasonable fee of  PhP 358.00 every 24 hours.  So if you are considering flying and want to park your vehicle somewhere safe, consider Park 'N Fly and follow these steps.
  • Check in at their office and fill up the required forms, be sure to give ample time for this to avoid being late for your flight. They are located at the PTT Gas Station, corner of MIA Road and Domestic Road.
  • They will inspect your vehicle and make an accounting and you'll leave the car keys to the assigned staff. A claim stub will be issued and you need to present this upon your return when claiming your vehicle.
  • A shuttle service will then transport you to your flight departure terminal.
  • Text them or call them and provide them your details as soon as your flight landed in Manila, they will pick you up in no time.
  • At Park 'N Fly, proceed to their office and settle your bill.
  • You can now drive your way back home.

Yes, I'm finally going to Taipei, not alone but with a cousin in a while. Our flight today is scheduled late in the evening and will be arriving there past midnight. I prepared an itinerary to cover 2 whole days of fun and adventure, food tripping and a little of shopping, leaving so little time for rest.  It was my mistake to not scrutinize the time of our departure, what a bummer! But  instead of paying for the re-booking charges that is similar to buying another ticket, I just work around our schedule, with an itinerary comparable to an Amazing Race Challenge, geez! I really have to challenge myself if I have the energy to keep up with the schedule, but I'm sure it would be fun!
I'll be back on Thursday, hopefully bringing with me interesting stories and a wonderful experience. Till next, praying for a safe trip and a good weather while looking forward to this sight ....

This week at I heart faces, everyone is sharing their summer stories through a series of photos. Our summer in Boracay is my contribution .....

To get a good view of Boracay, we visited Mt. Luho, Boracay's highest elevation with a viewing tower and a walk way. From here, we had a nice view of the Bolabog beach, the Fairways and Blue Water Golf Resort and of course the ocean. To get there we hired an All Terrain Vehicle for 500 pesos each.

It was my first time to ride an ATV and traversed a rugged terrain and it was all worth it ....

Getting henna tattoos have become a popular must do when you visit the beach, so I had one for myself ...

Even if it was raining and the sand can really get harsh when the wind blows, we sure had fun!!! .........
And who could resist the best milkshake in Boracay!
And if your built for this, Boracay boasts of water activities for the water sports enthusiasts ...We still managed to catch the sunset even if there was typhoon at that time, it was not as glorious as it used to be but still beautiful ....

Night life is alive in Boracay. You can party all night, lucky for us, it was not raining from 10pm onwards and so we treated ourselves to some acoustic sounds and some drinks ...

And my most treasured moment is some quiet moment after taking a bubble bath, thanking my Father up above for the opportunity to be one with nature and enjoy this beautiful experience.

Come visit and join the fun here!!!

Coronwonders, the tour organizer we hired, booked us at Darayonan Lodge. It has a homey atmosphere and just located within the town proper where most establishments are easily accessible even by foot.

We got 2 deluxe family rooms that accommodated 4 heads each. It has a private bathroom equipped with shower heaters and with amenities like 21" TV, ref-minibar, writing desk, closets and veranda. All these for just PhP 581.25/day per head with breakfast included. The place has lush and spacious garden, multi purpose hall and nipa gazebo.

The lodging staff would make you choose the night before, what's your preferred breakfast and the time you want it served. I enjoyed my tapsilog on the first day and corned beef silog on the second day and of course an overflowing coffee or tea included.

While I am trying to make a list of the spots I've got to visit here in my country for my next blog entry, I came across this site that can actually map out my travel history in the Philippines. It's a very cool application that gives me a comprehensive geographic appreciation of our dear country. There's just so much to see here, explore and appreciate. So before I embark on another out of the country journey, I need to explore my country first. You can check how much of the Philippines I have visited and you can try the application as well.

My Lakbayan grade is C!

How much of the Philippines have you visited? Find out at Lakbayan!

The colored parts are the ones I've been to, mostly Luzon and some Visayas part. Palawan and Mindanao are still blank. I'll be in Palawan this June so I'll make a spot there soon.

Having heard so many people brag about their wonderful experience in Sagada, and exploring the Caves as the most fulfilling among the many activities Sagada can offer, made me contemplate the possibility that I might just do it. What hesitates me actually is the fact that I'm not in my best form. The last time I was in a gym was 3 yrs ago. The only activity I'm doing since then is walking. That's why I know I will be "vertically challenged". My lower body is a lot heavier than my upper body. I got huge hips and thin arms, how can I carry my weight? I know from that alone, cave connection is not for me.

So I settled to just check Sumaguing Cave and originally planned to just go down until that popularly known cave formation the " King's Curtain" and just take lots of pictures and then retreat back and wait for my companions who will go deeper where the freezing water flows. Just the thought of crossing the freezing water is enough reason for me to back out. (Then I imagined myself waiting at the opening of the cave for at least an hour, alone by myself and with a big LOSER sign on my head ... waah, no way!!! I have to give this a try) So after careful thought and ceaseless prodding by my group mates, I moved on with caution and a prayer and after a few minutes, I said to myself this is not as hard as I initially thought. Our tour guide Ben Calpi from SAGGAS group is doing everything possible to assist each one of us, be it using his body to transport us from one point to another. There are small openings that we need to fit ourselves, from which the size is the same as the diameter of my hips, ha ha - Then came this portion where there is a 2 meter long and 7 feet deep freezing cold water separating us to the other side and there's a rope that we need to cling to in order to transport us on the other side. Our guide will anchor his feet to assist our steps while his one hand on the rope and his other hand holding the lamp (see how easy it is for him, really amazes me!) While I glided with my two hands on the rope and my foot firmly stepping on Ben's foot, I really thought it was easy, until that last step - I'm almost there, ready to sit down - but instead I slipped and let loose of my hold on the rope and plunged into the freezing water. Two second of panic mode and then I emerged and then swiftly pulled out by Ben... Whoa, I made a scene and cause some panic, but what the heck, it was an exhilarating experience. The cold water is really something as if ,it has some magical power that made me energized. Well I'm proud to say, I'm the only one from our group who had the most unforgettable experience in Sagada worthy to blog about .... look I came out unscathed. Proud to have survived Sagada!!! I even have a certificate to prove it. yehey !!!
